Colts Co-Ed Soccer

The Lucerne Valley Middle School co-ed soccer team currently has 14 players on its roster, “but new players are coming in pretty frequently,” says Head Coach Amy James.

 

 Perhaps because there wasn’t a Middle School soccer team last season due to the pandemic, there’s been a lot interest this season.  “There are a lot of incredibly skilled players on this year’s team, and the whole team is showing some real promise,” the coach says.

 

Coach James will name captains as they begin to stand out as leaders on the team, but the first captain spot was already given to Irvin Angeles. “He showed initiative and leadership ever since day one.”

 

The team has one player from Lucerne Valley Elementary School, 6th-grader James Tucker. All others are in 7th and 8th grade.

 

“I think that this is going to be an incredible season that is very much worth watching,” Coach James says.
