Counseling
The Lucerne Valley Middle High School Counseling Department is a new but very important part of the school’s educational framework. The department is run by Mr. Kevin Barda, who joined the school staff in 2020. Mr. Barda is available to assist all students with academic, social and personal performance issues and to help them to be successful in school and beyond.
Besides being available to assist with issues such as class schedule, grades and college/career goals, Mr. Barda can help with much more. Additional reasons to see the school counselor include anger management, relationship issues, family issues, depression, grief/loss, substance abuse, eating disorders, bullying and conflict mediation.
The counseling follows strict confidentiality guidelines.
