The Lucerne Valley Middle High School AVID Program will hold a unique — and quite tasty — benefit event on Wednesday, May 9, with its first-ever “Chicken Dinner Fundraiser.”
All those who order the “Drive Through Dinners” will have to do is drive up to the school and pick up their chicken dinners from their car windows. Why cook when you can drive and dine? Pick up times are 1:45 to 3:30 p.m.
Dinners, which cost $10 each, include smoked chicken, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob and a biscuit. Kids meals, at $5 each, include “Dino” chicken nuggets and macaroni and cheese.
All proceeds go toward the LVMHS AVID program.
