At 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 29, the baseball team will travel to The Webb Schools in Claremont. Following spring break, Lucerne Valley will head to La Sierra Academy in Riverside on April 5 at 4 p.m. The Mustangs’ next home game is 3:15 p.m. on April 6 against Academy of Careers & Exploration in Helendale.

The 2018 Lucerne Valley Baseball Roster: Isaiah Hernandez, Curtis Freeman, Andres Velasquez, Jamar Jones, Thomas Salbino, Sebastian Medal, Tyze Walker, Juan Cuevas, Hector Avelar, Leo Cummings, Drew Beason, Joseph Salbino, Jake Kline, Ignacio Perez, Brody Evans and Danny Suarez.
The Lucerne Valley baseball team is coached by Brandon Barkley and currently has a won-loss record of 2-6.

The Lucerne Valley Softball team’s next game is at home at 3:15 p.m. on April 6 against Academy of Careers & Exploration (Helendale). The Lady Mustangs are currently 4-5 and coached by Cyndie McDonough.

The softball team is led by multi-sports senior Jasmine Cedeno who often dominates opposing batters on the pitching mound.

TRACK & FIELD
The Lucerne Valley Track & Field team’s next meet is on Tuesday, April 3 at Riverside Prep. The meet begins at 3:30 p.m. The Track & Field team has competed at two previous Cross Valley League meets. The fourth meet is scheduled for April 17 and the CVL finals are on May 3.
