Softball 2026 Season Highlights

February 25: Softball would also host Palmdale Charter and freshman Kaylie Roane would lead our Mustangs as she would go 3 for 4 with 3 runs scored and 1 RBI, senior Miranda Navarette would go 2 for 5 with 3 runs scored and 3 RBIs and our Lady Mustangs who would trail 11 to 3 at one point would have a huge comeback and take the game over the Jaguars 22 to 14 and improve to 1 and 0 on the season.

March 1: Softball also headed out to Mojave to take on the Mustangs.  Junior Genesis Ayala would lead our Mustangs at the plate, going 1 for 2 with a run scored and a stolen base, and would strike out 2 batters while pitching.  Junior Ariana Garcia would also strike out 7 batters in 2 innings of work, but Mojave would eventually take the game over our Mustangs 16 to 1.  Our Softball team now sits at 1 and 1 on the year.

March 3: Softball would host Trona as well, senior Miranda Navarrate would lead our Lady Mustangs at the plate as she would go 2 for 3 with a double, sophomore AnnaLea Lattin would score 2 times and collect 2 stolen bases at the plate and junior Ariana Garcia would have a big day on the mound striking out a career best 12 batters in 5 and 2/3 innings pitched but Trona would jump out to an early lead and take the game over our Mustangs 16 to 2.  Our Softball team falls to 1 and 2 on the season.

March 4: Yesterday, our Softball team headed down to Redlands to take on Redlands Adventist.  Senior Miranda Navarette would lead our Mustangs at the plate as she would go 2 for 3 with an RBI. Freshman Rileigh Rollins would collect her first career hit, going 1 for 2, but a tough bottom of the 4th inning would be the difference as the Bulldogs would take the game over our Lady Mustangs 18 to 3.  Softball drops to 1 and 3 on the season.

March 14: Our Softball team would head to Silver Valley to take on the Trojans in an Agape League match up.  Senior Amaya Kelly would go 2 for 3 at the plate with a double, 6 runs scored and 2 RBIs.  Freshman Kinzie Rollins would help out going 1 for 3 with 3 runs scored and 2 RBIs.  Junior Ariana Garcia would strike out 7 batters over 5 innings of work, and our Mustangs snapped a 3-game losing streak as they took the game over the Trojans 29 to 12, improving to 2 and 3 overall and 1 and 0 in league play.

March 17: Softball would host CIMS in a league match up. Freshman Rileigh Rollins would have a great day at the plate going 2 for 2 with a triple, 1 run scored and a stolen base.  Junior Genesis Ayala would strike out 3 batters over 4 innings of work, but the Cougars would eventually take the game over our Mustangs with a big 4th inning, 21 to 1.  Our Softball is now 2 and 4 overall and 1 and 1 in league play.

March 22: Softball would host Big Bear in their Agape League match up.  Senior Miranda Navarrete would lead our Mustangs at the plate going 1 for 2.  Freshman Kinzie Rollins would have a few put outs at 3rd base, but the Bears would grab 18 hits on the day and take the game over our Mustangs 18 to 0.

April 7: Our Softball team would host CIMS in an Agape League match up. Sophomore AnnaLea Lattin would lead our Mustangs at the plate going 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored and an RBI. Senior Miranda Navarette would go 1 for 2 with 1 run scored and an RBI. But the Cougar would take advantage of walks and errors from the Mustangs' would take the game 31 to 9.  Our Softball team is now 2 and 6 overall and 1 and 3 in league play.

April 12: Softball would also take on CIMS, and freshman Rileigh Rollins would go 1 for 1 at the plate with 2 runs scored, while senior Amaya Kelly would go 1 for 2 with a double and a run scored. The Cougars would hammer out 15 hits against the Mustangs' pitching and take the game 23 to 4.  Softball is now 2 and 7 overall and 1 and 4 in league play.

April 13: Our Softball team hosted PAL Charter Academy.  Junior Ariana Garcia would lead our Mustangs at the plate as she would go 2 for 3 with a double and 2 runs scored, and as a pitcher, Ariana would pitch a no-hitter and strike out 12 batters in her best performance of the season.  Freshman Kinzie Rollins would go 1 for 1 with 2 runs scored, an RBI, and our Mustangs would grab the victory over the Bulls 12 to 0.  Softball now sits at 3 and 7 overall.

April 14: High School Softball would be on the road to take on the Bears from Big Bear. Junior Genesis Ayala would grab 2 stolen bases on the afternoon after walking twice, senior Miranda Navarette would also reach base twice, but the Bears would have a big offensive day and take the game over our Mustangs 23 to 0.  Softball now sits at 3 and 8 overall and 1 and 5 in league play.

April 15: High School Softball would be on the road to take on the Bears from Big Bear. Junior Genesis Ayala would grab 2 stolen bases on the afternoon after walking twice, senior Miranda Navarette would also reach base twice, but the Bears would have a big offensive day and take the game over our Mustangs 23 to 0.  Softball now sits at 3 and 8 overall and 1 and 5 in league play.

April 17: Softball would host Big Bear in their Agape League matchup. Junior Ariana Garcia would go 1 for 2 with a double and a stolen base.  Junior Genesis Ayala would go 1 for 2 as well, and freshman Kinzie Rollins would go 1 for 2 to help out the offense, but the Bears would grab 22 hits and take the game over our Mustangs 25 to 0.  Softball is now 3 and 9 overall and 1 and 6 in league play.

April 22: Yesterday, our Softball team hosted Silver Valley. Senior Amaya Kelly would lead our Mustangs as she would go 3 for 4 with a triple, 2 runs scored, and an RBI.  Junior Ariana Garcia would go 2 for 3 with a double and triple, 4 runs scored, and 3 RBIs, and our Mustangs would collect 10 hits on the afternoon, but the Trojans would have a big 4th inning, which would be the difference in the game as Silver Valley would take the game 17 to 12 over our Mustangs.  Softball is now 3 and 11 overall and 1 and 8 in league play.

April 26: High School Softball would take on ACE, and senior Amaya Kelley would lead our Mustangs at the plate, going 1 for 2 with a run scored and a stolen base. Junior Genesis Ayala would strike out 4 batters in 3 innings of work, but the Eagles would grab 12 hits against our Mustangs and take the game 17 to 3.  Softball now sits at 3 and 12 overall and 1 and 9 in league play.
