Kinzie Rollins, Braxton Cervantes Presented with Student of the Month Awards

Students of Month

The Lucerne Valley USD school board formally presented the Middle School and High School Students of the Month Awards at its recent meeting on November 14th. Assistant Principal Chris Watkins shared his thoughts on the two awardees, Middle School student Kinzie Rollins, and High School student, Braxton Cervantes. “Kinzie is a student who wants to do well,” Mr. Watkins said. “She is an awesome student who plays three sports, and she’s a pleasure to have in class.” About Braxton Cervantes, he said he is “polite and attentive,” and with hard work has gotten his grades up in all his classes to A’s and B’s. Just recently he improved his three-mile time as a Mustang Cross Country runner by a whopping eight minutes.
