Attention LVUSD High School Students: It’s a Gas to go to Class is officially coming back this year for students in Grades 9 through 12 for students with “Almost Perfect Attendance.” Almost Perfect Attendance is defined for this program as:
• When on campus, being present for three or more periods in the day, with any missed periods being excused.
• When assigned, successful completion of Independent Study.
• Missing no more than 7 days of school.
Students who meet the above criteria as of Friday, March 24, 2023, will be eligible to attend the “Celebration of Education” at the Victorville Fairgrounds where grand prizes will include a Ram 1500 truck and a Jeep Compass SUV. Many other prizes will be available too. Eligibility may be determined through an initial drawing before the event at the school site should space be limited at the event.
