The annual Run in the Rocks 5K run/walk event is set for October 19. The event is organized and sponsored by the Mitsubishi Cement Corporation Educational Foundation and benefits Lucerne Valley schools. The event will be held at Lucerne Valley High School, 33233 Rabbit Springs Rd, Lucerne Valley, CA 92356. Here is the link to register:

The 5k consists of two loops of a course of road, sidewalks, and dirt roads. Runners and walkers are welcome. Event details and schedule:
6:30-7:45AM Sign-Ups/Packet Pick up
8:00AM 5k run/walk start
9:30AM Awards
Parking is free on north or east side of the school. Sign-ups and start are in the middle of the Lucerne Valley High School campus.
