The Lucerne Valley boys soccer team faced a tough Riverside Prep squad but held tough during the second period for a final score of 7-0 on Tuesday.
The Silver Knights scored six goals in the first period, and one in the second.
The Mustangs, who are coached by Hugo Hernandez, are now 3-3-1 in league and 4-4-1 overall. The Mustangs have a home conference game vs. Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy (Victorville) at 3 p.m. on Thursday, December 20.
The Mustang boys face the Academy of Academic Excellence (Apple Valley) at home on January 3 followed by another home game against University Prep (Victorville) on January 8.
