Liberty Utilities Apple Valley recently explained the value of water to 59 students from Lucerne Valley Middle School. The students, who were on a Mojave Environmental Education Consortium (MEEC) sponsored field trip, were given an overview of Liberty Utilities’ water system, a tour of the facilities and equipment at the Ottawa Road location, and educated on how they can conserve water. They then boarded their bus and visited the Mockingbird Booster Pump Station and one of Liberty’s well sites.
