The Lucerne Valley FFA is currently at the 90th FFA State Leadership Conference at the Anaheim Convention Center. The event runs from April 22-25.
The Lucerne Valley FFA members are among more than 5,000 from around California to gather in Anaheim to engage in general sessions, educational leadership workshops, a career show and delegate sessions to accomplish the business of the California FFA Association. Featured speakers of the event are actor and street ball player Jesse Lebeau and filmmaker Brett Culp.
On Monday, April 23, school board member Tom Courtney, who is an Honorary Member of the Lucerne Valley Chapter of the FFA, said on Facebook, “I am proud of each and every one of you. I am proud of the town and school district we come from. You folks represent the very best we have to offer.”
While in Anaheim the FFA attendees will enjoy an out to Disney’s California Adventure.
The Annual FFA Chapter Banquet will be held on Monday, May 7 in the Sgt. Brian L. Walker Memorial Gymnasium at Lucerne Valley High School.
