Daisy Alonzo Named Student of the Month

Lucerne Valley High School senior Daisy Alonzo has been named the school’s first-ever Distance Learning Student of the Month.

“If we were to honor a student for their work so far this year, I can't think of anyone more deserving than Daisy Alonzo,” said Mr. Hood, who nominated Daisy for the award. “She's been amazing, getting straight A's and on top of everything!”

Co-Principal Mrs. Boeing completely agrees.

“She is an all-around fantastic young lady! She has a 4.3 grade point average, she is a talented athlete, and she is the kindest, most genuine person ever.” Moreover, Mrs. Boeing added, “Daisy is goal-driven, and you can’t help but admire a young mind like that. You can’t help but smile when she smiles at you!”
