LVMHS Students Spread Kindness on Unity Day

Lucerne Valley Middle High School participated in Unity Day on Wednesday, October 23.

Unity Day is a featured part of National Bullying Prevention Month, which was started in 2006 by PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center.

This Unity Day Lucerne Valley students hung up a “chain of kindness” in the front office and installed two kindness murals outside. Students were encouraged to wear orange to show their unity.

“Let's keep our campus kind this year!” said school counselor Rebecca Rubio who also serves as an adviser to the LVHS Peer Counseling program.

LVMHS is planning on participating in the Great Kindness Challenge next January, Rubio added.
