Lucerne Valley FFA Team Takes First Place

The Lucerne Valley FFA Chapter took four teams to the High Desert Section FFA Opening Closing Ceremonies competition on October 3 at Serrano High School and its A team won first place overall.
 
The chapter and its officer team were proud of all of the hard work their members put into memorizing their parts. All members performed wonderfully.
 
The following students placed in their respective competitions:
 
Novice: Ian Collins, fourth for Sentinel; Kayla Timmons, second for Sentinel; Davianna Enderlee, third for Reporter; Bruce Fowler, fifth for Reporter; Alexis Porter, fifth for Treasurer; Harley Eaton, fourth for Secretary; Jose Mendoza, fifth for Secretary; Christian Gutierrez, third for Vice President; Trevor Walczyk, fifth for Vice President; Kailey Quintero, third for President; Christal Esparza, fifth for President.
 
Team Blue placed third overall. Team Gold placed four place overall.
 
Advanced: Daisy Alonzo, fifth for Sentinel, Liliana Velasco, first for Reporter; Alyssa Grizzle, first for Treasurer; Korrina Medina, third for Secretary; Josclyn Nichols, first for Vice President; Katelyn Miller, third for President.
 
Team A placed first overall.
