The boys basketball team is all smiles during its game Monday as all four Lucerne Valley High School sports teams were victorious on when Summit Leadership Academy came to town on December 3. The Lucerne Valley girls and boys soccer teams won 2-1 and 4-1, respectively. The girls basketball team dominated the Eagles, 57-3, while the boys fought hard against a determined Summit Leadership Academy team, winning by a score of 57-52. The basketball games served as home games for SLA, which does not have a gymnasium on its Hesperia campus. Lucerne Valley’s winter sports schedule continues to be busy with the basketball teams facing the Academy for Academic Excellence on Wednesday and the Academy of Careers & Exploration on Friday and soccer going against Big Bear later in the week.
